With most thermostatic oil sandwich plates only offering two ports for an oil cooler, Mishimoto have developed a billet sandwich plate which also includes two 1/8" NPT ports for oil temperature and pressure sensors. It's reduced footprint means it is easily installed on Mazda MX-5s, and the built-in thermostat ensures that the engine still reaches operating temperatures at which contaminants boil out of the oil.
